Snagr ("Snagr," "we," "us," or "our") helps you discover and get notified about restaurant reservation availability. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Snagr app you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in (including via Sign in with Apple or Google), we receive a name and email associated with your account.
- Usage and preferences. The restaurants you track, your alert settings, and similar in-app choices, so we can deliver the right notifications.
- Device and notification data. A push notification token and basic device information so we can send the alerts you ask for.
- Advertising measurement data. We use Meta App Events to measure the performance and attribution of our ads. Meta may receive limited technical device and app-use information, including app activation events and identifiers where permitted by your device settings. We do not send your account credentials, contact details, or restaurant-watch details to Meta through this integration.
- Diagnostics. Limited technical logs and crash or bug reports you submit, used to keep the service working.
How we use information
- To provide core features: tracking restaurants and sending availability alerts.
- To operate, secure, and improve the app.
- To communicate with you about your account, support requests, and service updates.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run Snagr (for example, hosting, push notification delivery, and authentication providers such as Apple and Google), and reservation platforms whose public availability we surface. We also share limited advertising-measurement data with Meta through Meta App Events so we can measure ad performance and app-install attribution; Meta processes that information under its own Privacy Policy. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
Your choices
- Manage or turn off notifications from within the app or in your device settings.
- Manage advertising identifiers and tracking permissions in your device settings.
- Request access to or deletion of your data by emailing hello@snagr-dinning.app.
Children
Snagr is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
